So you’ve made it this far, and you’re wondering, “Hey, what the fuck?” Fair question! The super short explanation is, this is a labyrinth designed to blur the edges between story and waking life. What next?
Read the stories.
Feel how you’ve changed.
Change the world you see.
That’s it. That’s the whole game. Well, that’s the game, and it’s whole.
These stories and your story live in the same universe, and your participation changes both.
“But like, how though?” Another great question! So many questions. You’d probably get along with the Birds. We have a couple of ways to navigate the maze.
In the Storyteller menu above, there’s a link to the Bird’s Eye View to help you get a look at the maze as a whole. You can also click on The Storyteller to get a feel for what the maze is made of. Otherwise, there’s a menu of Stories, each told from their own perspective, each entwined with the others. Just pick a name that sounds interesting, and then you choose your own adventure!
Some of these storytellers have secrets (well, they all have secrets, but some of them are willing to share). If you want to play a level deeper, sign up for a free membership, and choose the storyteller you want to know in a more intimate way (no, not like that, not unless you choose Vanni anyway). Secrets will reveal themselves.
“But choosing is hard!” That’s true. It’s a theme you’ll find here often, intentionally baked into the structure of the labyrinth itself. Still, we do have an ‘All Play’ option for you indecisive folks, scoundrels that you are.
Is that not enough for you? Do you still want more? Great! Come join us on the Patreon page to put some dollars in the hat, and you’ll be welcomed into the widely known (or was it widely flown?) Birdclub! There’s personalized mail offerings, keys to digital portals for grokking with fellow strangers, and a more direct invitation to participation in this shared storying of the evolving Earth.
If you, dear reader, have gotten this far and still are not sure what you’re doing, or where to go, I have failed you. Game over. To try again, insert question at hey.potse@gmail.com or auspicia.oblativa@yandex.com!
